In each edition, Sibylline's Climate Quarterly will be an incisive assessment into the role of climate change in driving a severe, complex global risk environment. The inaugural edition of the report will scrutinise heat-stress as a pivotal global risk driver through an assessment of recent wildfires in North America and Europe, which have revealed cascading operational, supply chain and socio-economic vulnerabilities. It probes shifting drought patterns and the impact of water shortages on food security in Latin America and South Asia, among others. Our report underscores rising regional tensions and government stability risks, due to resource scarcity and climate activist demands, which will shape operational and corporate governance environments for years to come.
